Nokia N90 Review - The Nokia N90 3G smartphone features double displays along with a 2 MP camera backed by Carl Zeiss optics. The high quality of the N90 comes at a price, however. The Nokia N90 is the largest in the N series line so far - total weight of the N90 is a whopping 173 grams.

The N90 is a 3G triband phone (GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz) with EDGE, GPRS, as well as Bluetooth 1.2 and USB connectivity. There's even HSCSD, CSD, as well as Fax support.

There's only 31 MB of internal memory, but the designers include a 64 MB reduced-size (RS) MMC card with the purchase to compensate for this. This should be more than enough to store 800+ minutes of video, as well as thousands of pictures or music files.

Nokia N90 Dual Displays

The external display has a 128x128 pixel size and shows 65k colors. The external display will give you your signal strength, battery life, the current time, caller ID, and will even let you view incoming SMS messages on the fly.

The Nokia N90 boasts a great camera with Carl Zeiss optics. The cam takes wonderful quality pictures up to 1600x1200 pixels. The N90 also boasts an abunance of extra camera features. There's adjustable exposure, nice auto white balance as well as auto focus. You'll also find a good amount of image management applications preinstalled on the N90 - it's also PictBridge compatible. The only thing lacking is the flash, limited at 1.5 m.

Nokia N90 Operating System and Applications

The N90 is backed by the Series 60 OS. You'll find Quickpoint, Quicksheet, as well as Quickword - all compatible with MS Office. There's also a great Opera browser I'm very fond of using, as well as Adobe Acrobat reader for .Pdfs.

The music player on the N90 supports AAC and MP3 files - not many formats support but .Mp3 is enough for me usually. I was suprised that the N90 didn't include stereo speakers, however the mono speaker did the job well.

The battery life on the Nokia N90 is somewhat short, but not terrible by any means. Talk time is 4 and a half hours, while standby is around 10 days.

Nokia N90 Review - Conclusion

Overall, the Nokia N90 couples excellent camera and video capturing capabilities with pretty much all the features that anyone could want - but in a bulky, slightly heavier package (173 grams total). Keeping features in mind, the N90 boasts a great camera with high quality image and video capture abilities, decent music capabilities, as well as connectivity support for everything under the sun.

Nokia N75 Review - The Nokia N75 is the tiniest member of the Nokia N series line. The Nokia is a sleek and slim clamshell style phone - the design and size are a major plus for me. The 3G N75 also has EDGE support for a wonderful Net browsing experience. GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). Overall weight is 124 grams.

The Nokia N75 also features two great displays. The 160 x 128 pixel external display shows your music details and other stats for your phone. The internal display is 320 x 240 pixels and displays over 16 mil colors - very high quality.

The N75 camera is 2 MP and also features video capture support at 15 frames per second. 40MB of internal memory should prove sufficient enough to store a up to 450-500 minutes of video clips - if this isn't enough you can easily expand with a microSD slot for up to 2GB of extra space.

The integrated music player supports a decent amount of music formats: MP3, AAC, eAAC+, M4A, as well as WMA. Audio quality is great from integrated stereo speakers. You don't need to open the N75 to control your music - dedicated music keys let you operateThe integrated music player supports a decent amount of music from the outside.

The Nokia N75 also features a great web browser called Mini Map. Get orginal websites sent directly to the N75 - you can also zoom in to get a closer look on the vidid display. You can also subscribe to RSS feeds via the N75 - making it wonderful to keep up with your latest favorite blogs.

Battery life is average: talktime is up to 4 hours, standby at a decent 8 days.

Overall, the Nokia N75 multimedia computer is a very solid phone, offering plenty of wonderful features all in one compact, tiny package.
