Nokia 1110 Review - The Nokia 1100 is an entry level mobile handset with a basic style. I like the basic style it has, overall it's almost an industrial style look.
The Nokia 1110 is a dual band EGSM handset, operating on EGSM 900 and GSM 1800 MHz frequency bands. It has a camera with a flash light, which is located at the middle on top of the phone. The flash in Nokia 1100 is not strong as you find in Nokia 3200.
The sides of the phone have 'ribs', which prevent it from slipping from your hand when you are holding it. The phone comes in various colours and the cover of the phone can be changed. The phone is not waterproof nor is it shock proof. You need to be very careful handling this phone.

The microphone, the charging port and the interface connector are all located at the bottom on the phone. Nokia 1100 has a black and white graphical display with a resolution of 96x65 pixels. The display has a back light, lit by a green LED. It can display four text lines and one extra line for service needs. Information on the display is easily read, even when exposed to sunlight, and the texts are large enough.
The phone features a phone book, which accommodates 50 entries with only one telephone number for each name.
As for SMS messages, 50 such SMS can be stored in the memory of the phone. Predictive text input, T9, is supported by Nokia 1100. The phone supports Nokia Smart Messaging and there are 8 numbers of smileys that you can use, with 2 slots for your own. There are 8 pre-installed message templates in Nokia1100 which you can use.
Nokia 1110 features the basic functions available in a mobile phone. It supports SMS, MMS, call list, settings, alarm clock, reminders, limited number of in-built, games, etc.
There are no keys available in Nokia 1110 for receiving and ending calls. In this phone you would need to press the central button in the keyboard in order to accept an incoming call, and in order to dial one of the recent numbers you will need to press the upper arrow key. This is quite cumbrous and you would need to memorise the sequence. The missed calls list can only be accessed through the menu and in here, compared to the other phones, the menu navigation convenience is much lower.
