There’s an integrated music player in the Nokia 5500 that supports a wide variety of different music formats: AMR, MP3, AAC, eAAC, and WMA. We found the included HS-29 headphones to give pretty reasonable audio quality. The battery life on the 5500 is decent – it runs for up to ten hours when playing songs. Talk time is around 4 1/2 hours and standby is at a good 12 days.

Overall the Nokia 5500 is great for it’s sturdiness, but has a screen on the smaller side for a smartphone. The wireless Bluetooth connectivity along with the durability factor makes the Nokia 5500 phone ideal for athletes who don’t mind the small screen.
