  1. [...] If you just want a phone that functions well and has a few good features to boot, consider Nokia’s 6xxx series of phones. These phones have less of the extra features like a premium video camera, but work just fine when all you’re looking to do is make calls and take a picture or two. Check out the latest Nokia 6085 Review, for example – a great phone at a great price. [...]

  2. I really like the clamshell design and the clock on the outside is a nice touch.

  3. I like the design of the 6085, the battery life is great like all the Nokia phones I have had! The buttons are large and easy to use, it is a LOUD phone. Both talking and ringtones. The only thing I wish it had was a list instead of just a grid for all of the funtions. A little hard to find things, but I’m getting use to it. It is my first flip phone, which I swore I would never own. But that was all AT&T had to offer for a Nokia except the 6210 which my husband got. Too small for me. My favorite Nokia was my 6030, great phone, thats all I wanted and thats what I got. No frills, but a great PHONE! I still keep it as a back up. Some ringtones on the 6085 are cut short if you purchase through AT&T on internet, but all in all I really like this phone so far.

The only thing I am not sure of is the clock on the outside screen. Should it stay on all the time? Mine goes off after a few secounds?

  4. I have had many cell phones over the years and have never had one this bad. The ringer volume is very low causing me to miss several calls. This display is very poor and can not be visible when in the sun light. I wish AT&T would give me a refund.

  5. Can’t hear the ringer and can’t see the display. I wish AT&T would give me a refund.

  6. it’s pretty cheap for a sleek, clamshell quad-band phone with a cam. this black 6085 not only looks gorgeous but it also looks expensive.

This phone is a piece. Not worth spending a penny on. Longest I have had it work with no problem is 2 months. Techs don’t know how to fix it. The garbage is really the best place for it. I will never buy Nokia again.

  8. this phone sucks. i dropped it and the display stopped working

  9. I had this phone in the pink for almost a year too long. I really would have loved it accept for the fact that people I was talking to could not hear me even though I could hear them. They would say I sound like I’m talkin in a tunnel. AT&T switched this phone out with me 2 times and all 3 acted the same way. That was horrible and very aggrivating. If it wasn’t for that, it would have been a really nice phone. My advice, leave that phone where its at. If you don’t have, you don’t want it. Oh, I’ve always had nothin but nokia’s, but they messed up on this one.

  10. I have had this phone almost a year… and it has been nothing but a migraine!!! after the third week I had frequent lost calls, or the other party not able to hear me, although I could hear them. They said it sounded like I was talking from outer space… as time passed I kept getting a screen popping up saying “no network coverage” and would immediately loose my phone call. As this kept happening more often I brought the phone it numerous times, the techs said nothing was wrong with the phone. They changed the battery twice, the sim card twice and then finally after a million complaints they agree to send me a replacement. Not even having the phone a month I called back saying I was still having the same problems. In order for me to exchange out for a different phone all together, AT&T said I had to go through one more replacement.. as they stated “the second rule.” How frustrating was that… they openly admitted that it would make a difference but they had to follow this rule. How dumb it that????!!! During all of this I needed an ambulancd called, my phone would not let me make the call and I was unable to go outside where my phone works better…. thankfully my children were home to run across the street to the neighbors and call 911. Even with this serious complaint to AT&T they still insisted on another replacement phone. I told them if my children would have not been home I wouldn’t be hear now… how could they possibly send me another phone like this and placing my life at risk??? again they sincerely apologized for my inconvience and said that is there policy. It took me 10 months to get a replacement… then 3 weeks to the second one…. and just yester day… only having my phone 5 days.. finally I am getting a different type of phone… however… the phones they left me to pick from ranked no more than 3 stars… with most reports were1 or 2 stars….. so what am I up against now??? I am so ticked off with AT&T.. the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with in all my life!!! I spent about 20 hours all together on my husbands phone trying to get this cleared up……. and just hitting one wall after another…. not only did I deal with thier unprofessionalism… they also hung up on me several times… where is the customer satisfaction??? or customer service?? service with a smile right???? huh…. to top this all off… my original phone I sent back… they sent back to me charging me 65 dollars.. they accused me of tampering with the water damage sticker in the back of the phone… little did they know I had it inspected from the location before sending out… and that sticker was there and white.. no water damage… I called and put a complaint in with a manager.. told here that someone there tampered with my phone because they were pissed at myself and my husband for out inpatience with this all.. and our frustrations.. I most certainly did get bitchy at the end of this all… I told her I had proof of this.. as the phone they sent back that was tampered with, that whoever tore of the sticker left a quarter of it behind.. and it was white… so why would a phone that had no water damage (indicative of the white sticker) be tampered with on my part???? makes no sense… aside the fact I had taken pictures prior to it being sent out as well…. unbelievable that they would stoop this far!!! After my contract is up next year… I will never see AT&T as the same~~~!!!!!! What kind of company does this????

  11. this phone I would never buy again or deal with AT&T either. This phone has given me nothing but problems since day one, and the company neglected to take care of the situation promptly. They have me drive over an hour to go get a replacement phone to another state, when I get there all they do is change the damn battery out and said that should fix the problem. How does a battery interfere with the cut out calls, choppy phone calls and no tower bars???? Why should a customer have to complain so much on a phone that is a piece of crap; that they now have pulled off thier shelves here, knowing that there are far more complaints that positive feedback. It seems to me that AT&T are surely after the business but willing to handle problamatic phones in any way. They pushed my situation aside right until my warranty was almost up, but I pushed more back and now finally getting rid of the phone. No customer should ever have to go through this. I told them they wouldn’t keep a phone like this for themselves, why aspect others too? That they too would be pretty upset and frustrated like I was.

  12. The ringer volume is so low that even when I am sitting beside my phone, I might miss a call if there’s a regular conversation in the room. Sometimes it sounds like a phone ringing in another room.

Also, I have been unable to remove the following message that is displayed everytime I call someone: Note: call forwarding active.
