Nokia 6133 Review - The Nokia 6133 is the latest from Nokia with an attractive clamshell design. It is lighter than most other phones, weighing in at a light 102 grams. The Nokia 6133 is a tad on the thicker side, though, at about 0.82 inches wide. The slick rNokia 6133 Review Phoneubbery shell and chrome-lined 240 x 320 pixel display are both attractive and eye catching. A small button on the top right side of the phone can be used to open the phone with a push, a great feature to have if your hands are occupied. You can roam international lines with the Nokia 6133 T-Mobile. It is a quad band phone. You will also be surprised to find a wide variety of calling features available, like Bluetooth, a handy speakerphone, as well as conference calling that will support 5 calls in one conversation.

If you are a fan of instant messaging you will love the Nokia 6133. Typing messages on the 6133 is easy and quick. There is also support for AIM, ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo, among others. Surf the web on your Nokia 6133, too. The 1.3 mega-pixel camera takes clear shots and decent video. The colours are rich and balanced, as well. Switch up the settings if you want, you can change picture quality, picture size, video quality, video resolution, and more. With 11 MB of build-in memory, you have some room to save your music and files, but still not a whole lot. Expand your memory with a microSD expansion; you will be glad you did.

Nokia 6133 is almost a carbon copy of 6126, except that it has a re-designed keypad, and an added FM radio. The 6133 does not have an external antenna, and has pleasing rounded edges with smooth finish. Measuring 3.6x1.9x0.8 inches, the Nokia 6133 is not super-thin, but it is quite sleek and compact. It has a good 1.5 inch, 128x160-pixel external display, with 262,144 colours. The handset has on display the time, battery life, signal strength, and photo or video caller ID. The backlight, screen savers, or wallpaper, timings can also be adjusted. The 1.3 mega-pixel camera is situated right above the display screen, and while there is no flash or self-portrait facility, the screen doubles up as a view finder. The volume rocker is situated at the left spine of the phone, with the camera and power control located at the right.

The navigation controls of Nokia 6133 are located below the display. These mainly consist of an OK/menu button at the centre of a four-way toggle switch, two soft keys, and talk and end controls. The soft keys can be designated to shortcuts, with the toggle switch set to access four user-defined shortcuts. The keyboard in Nokia 6133 is flushed with the body of the handset, and are silver coloured. The phone book in Nokia 6133 can accommodate 500 entries, which is considered to be sufficient with most users. It allows you to group or pair your contacts with photo Ids, and assignments of a specific ring-tone out of the seven available.

Nokia 6133 has an innovative push to open design, with an internal display having 320×240 pixels resolution, supporting 16.7 million colours. It also has an external 262K colour display, with 128x320 pixels resolution. This display has a limitation of 7 lines of text. The handset features Bluetooth, with OBEX, capability, GPRS and EDGE for high speed data, and a FM radio which would require a headset. It features integrated music/video player, and infrared. The Nokia 6133 package comes with a Lithium battery, a compact wall charger and a set of ear-bud headset.
