Nokia 6300 Review - Nokia 6300 has been designed quite stylishly, and comes in very attractive stainless steel housing. It has a glossy black rim around the screen and at the back, which highlights the camera feature lens. It has a large 2 inch screen, providing up to 16.7 million colours on a TFT QVGA type display. It has very attractive stainless steel keypad, with the controls set in black, providing a stunning contrast.

The control buttons are located in the display area. The buttons are slightly lifted from the front panel, helping a good hold feeling, while the buttons are pressed. The keypad is made of plastic, though it has been designed and coloured to look like the part of the body. The soft-keys in the phone have a see-through look, with nice backlight of red, blue and green colours.

Nokia 6300 has a 7.8 Mbytes of built in memory, with a 128 Mbytes MicroSDâ„¢ memory card made available with the package. The memory of 6300 is expandable up to 2 GB, by using additional MicroSDâ„¢ memory cards. The phone weighs 91 grams, and measures 106.4 mm x 43.6 mm x 11.7 mm, providing a candy bar style look that fits in the hand comfortably and firmly. The 2 megapixel camera allows the user to take ideal images, providing him with the facility to take photos, store photos, send & share photos from the mobile handset. The camera has a digital zoom, allowing the user to take close-up shots. The camera can be easily used for recording video, with playback feature.

The fully charged battery of Nokia 6300 provide up to 264 hours of standby battery time and up to 3.5 hours of talk time. It provides Edge technology, featuring high-speed data transfer and receive. The wireless connectivity in the phone is provided by a Bluetooth device. It has a USB port for connectivity to any USB compatible device. The phone has a tri-band technology, responding to GSM 900, 1800, and GSM 1900 frequency bands. A XHTML web-browser is provided in the phone.

Nokia 6300 features 64 voice polyphonic sound, MP3, MIDI & true tone ringing tones, which can be changed between each other by the user. Video ringing tone in the phone allows the user to view the images and listen to the ringing tones as well. The Nokia 6300 features music in MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, H263 and H264 formats. It features a FM radio as well, providing the user with music, chat show, and news stations.

Nokia 6300 comes with messaging service, which is simple to use.
