After you close it, it will shut off. You may just sit it down then go back to use it and its turned off. If you try to answer it it shuts off before you can answer with just a touch to it.. This may only be my phone, I may have a defective one but I did repelace less then a week after I got the first one and this one does the same thing. Once after if shut itself off I turned back on and had loast 2 ICONS. I took it back to the AT&T store and they were unable to recover them. But thats why they make car chargers.the phone has some good features and is really compact. Nokia improve the battery and this will be a great Phone.
