Nokia N91 does not have too huge extra applications, found in other enterprise mobile phones. This phone have the normal PDA applications, like, Contacts, Calendar, Notes and To-Do, but the ‘to-do’ does not have an icon of its own, and can be found to be with-in the calendar suite. It features, Flash Lite player, tutorial application, units converter and calculator, along with a email client, a music player, and a web browser, which makes the N91 a smart phone, ready for action. It is a top class music phone, which means, that other applications, such as, office compatible word processors and over the air synchronisation, have been left to more business application phone models. Never-the-less the N91 supports push-to-talk, and Nokia’s instant messaging, features.

Nokia N91 features Wi-Fi connectivity, which means that, with GPRS on board, you are presented with options, when you start to connect the N91 to the net. The handset has a 2.2-inch-diagonal screen, having 262,000 colours, with a resolution of 176×208 pixels, lower than the N80 model. Just below the display, you have the two soft-keys which can be customised, the talk and end buttons, and a 5-way navigation toggle switch. When the phone top cover is closed, you have the access to the music player controls, such as, music access, play/pause, stop, next, and previous.

The dial pad is accessed by sliding the lower half of the phone downwards. The buttons are quite thin and small, and the chances of pressing the wrong ones, are quite a probability. At the left spine of the phone, you will find the volume rocker, a speaker, and a mini USB port, while the right contains a menu shortcut key and a button, which is pressed to release the back cover. The 2 mega-pixel camera lens is situated above the battery cover. Nokia N91 does not have a flash light or a self portrait mirror. The handset supports 3G networks, USB, and extremely fast Java applications. The audio features playback of MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, M4A, WMA files, and supports Polyphonic, MP3, AAC, ring-tones.

  3. This phone sucks. Low Resolution. Although the camera is 2 MP still sucks. 2MP camera of other phones is much clearer. One Thing I really hate is that it cannot play youtube.
